Model Search!!!!

So I really want to do a shoot using my mom's and possible my aunts old prom dresses and maybe even a wedding dress. However I need a model or models to do this. Anyone know of a young girl that would be interested? I believe the dresses are sizes 8-10 or so. I really would like to find someone to do the make-up and hair as well. Anyone interested? Leave me a comment here or email me for details. Nichole@namifiers.com

More of Beautiful Lydia

Here are a few more from my shoots with Lydia and her cute family. Thanks guys for letting me photograph this little beauty. She was such a doll. And she looks so much like her mommy did as a baby. :) Congratulations !!

Zack

So Zack and I hung out in the make-shift studio the other day. He is such a funny kid. He was helping me out working on some DOF issues. These are all SOOC.

I let Zack take a few of me. He didn't do too bad.

Lydia; 6 and 10 Days old {sneek peek}

So here is a little sneek peek of what I have been up to. Thanks guys for giving me the opportunity to photograph this little beauty.  I had so much fun. Even though the first day I was so nervous :) Then the second day she was so good to sleep and I actually remembered to turn up the heat in the room. Sorry to Jess who had to deal with me sweating like crazy. But at least baby was warm right :)

This is a shot from the first session. She didn't not want to sleep. But for the most part she was calm so we got a few.
These next three are from the second session. She was so good.
More to come later when I get finished. Thanks again. She's a keeper :)

Better metering!!

So I have been working on my metering because I really want to get better at getting everything right SOOC (straight out of Camera) I actually went out today to shoot some picts of the kids playing outside. I specifically went out to shoot JPEG! YIKES! its been a while :) and here is what I got.

Mr. Blue Eyes

Backlighting is always a little harder and I was in a hurry since he was on the move, so this one is a little dark but not too bad.

A learned technique from Jasmine Starr, natural reflectors. I used the sidewalk as a reflector and his face is lit. Even though he didn't want to look at me.

Yes even dirty faces can be cute.
